A Few Things For Friday

1- Following up yesterday’s Ten Years Ago post I feel like I should point out a few things that have changed since that day:

  • The girl in that story and I are married, but not to each other.
  • We no longer have to call anyone to make travel plans.
  • I can no longer eat in the same room as a little person.
  • My wardrobe now includes shirts I did not buy at a concert.

2- A blogging question: Does anyone click the links on the sidebar anymore?

When it comes to the links on this blog I rarely click the links on the sidebar anymore.   I still read the sites on the sidebar I just get to them through Google Reader.   That said I feel like the links are going to remain where they just in case someone wants to click them, there are some great sites in those links.

(You can add this blog to a reader by clicking on the “Subscribe to this page” button in the address bar.  You should do it, in fact I dare you to do it.)

3-I’m slightly jealous of my dog’s popularity on Twitter.  That’s normal though, right?

Have a great weekend!

  1. I’ve been known to click your links, from time to time.

  2. Admittedly, Daisy has a very clever Twitter presence.

I actually do click links on the right. When I find a blog I like, I like to click the links especially if I’m looking for something new to read.

I can’t remember how I got here, but I’m sure it started with The Daily Randi. I can’t remember how I found her blog; maybe google or maybe a link on another blog.

So keep the links if they’re good.

  4. I rarely click any links on sidebars or in posts anywhere. Occasionally I do though. It’s mostly just a time thing.

  5. I rarely click links on sidebars either, but have been known to do so in the past. In fact, it’s through your blog that I found Brooklyn Sea Hag’s, so thanks for that.

i think I may be one of the last holdouts per the whole RSS thing. i think part of me is just intimidated by that much info hitting me at one time. ahh, technology…

  7. I also click your sidebar links. I found Mikey H and your wife thru you; can’t remember if it was Twitter or the links, but either way, I vote keep em!
