Barely Legal Chat Wrap Up

On Saturday night The Slackmistress and I held our 18th weekly live chat show. We are now 18 shows old which makes us legal.

If you didn’t catch it, here is what you missed:

  • The awesome people of the show chat room.
  • My wife continuing to talk me down from the baby ledge.
  • The reasons my wife should not play contact sports.
  • Why our kitchen door went missing.  This led to a somewhat disturbing story about my family (I know, big surprise).
  • The Sarah Palin baby slot machine.
  • On the plus side no one saw my underwear this week.

For the record The Billy Joel drink challenge remains in place.  Despite all of your big talk last week, none of the participants actually showed proof of ordering a Tonic & Gin.*  However, after we wrapped we met up with Lisa and Edly at 8 oz Burger Bar on Melrose and Edly ordered the drink Billy style.  I was impressed and the waitress noted that he ordered wrong, however this was not caught on video so for all intents an purposes it never happened.  Speaking of 8 oz. someone remind us to talk next week about the super awesome 8 oz ambassador and cupcake giver we see there on Saturday nights.

If you couldn’t make it to the show, we’ve archived it here.  We’ll be back next week with more.

  1. There might even be a highlight reel if I’m feeling so inclined. But I promise nothing. NUTHINK!

I think the best part of ordering the tonic and gin was when the waitress asked, “What kind of gin?” to which I replied, “Whatever’s your cheapest, because Will’s drinking it.”

I haven’t been out drinking with anyone with video capabilities. I will do it.
