Notes for a Thursday

I’d like to take a moment to say thanks to everyone who has sent me birthday wishes over the past few days and to everyone who made it (or even tried to make it) to my birthday get together last night. I had a great birthday and I thank you all for being a part of it.

Now for a few things I think you should check out:

1- You know I love the CDP.net right? I’m not saying I’d marry the CDP, because you can’t marry a web site, but I’d probably take it to the movies and then a nice dinner. Well, a few years ago the actual Mr. and Mrs. CDP got married and today they celebrate four years of being married and being awesome. You should check it out just to see Mrs. CDP rocking some band uniform hotness.

2- Sometimes I’m late to the party. For example, Sarcomical has existed for several years and I just read it for the first time. I am making up for my mistake now; you should do the same if you’ve gone without until now because it is very good despite the lack of band uniforms.

3- Now that I’m 34 years old I need to address something that is missing from my life: Video Games. For the past few years I’ve been working sans video games at the home. The question I have is this: Is the Wii worth the money? I can not afford a Wii but I may rob a bank for the money if you say I should.

Finally, I think I finally have things the way I like them at this new blog location so now would be an awesome time for you to subscribe to Be the Boy by clicking on that little orange button in the address bar up top, well go to the main page and then subscribe. Thanks again for reading.

  1. Sorry again that I couldn’t make it to y0ur party. I’m glad you had fun though.

Yes, the Wii is worth it. Two words: Mario Kart.

  3. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make it! I’m getting on a plane straight from werk today & had to pack. :P

Sounds like a good time was had by all, though! Happy birthday!

  4. Sorry I missed out! Hope you guys had fun – 34 is grand. Hopefully I can make it to the next get together, if I’m invited.

  5. Thanks for the shout out, Mr. Boy; you know I always appreciate it with every fiber of my sub-cockles.

Whenever I look at that photo of the Missus in her band uniform, I want to jump through the screen and take her, right there on the floor of the High School commons. Then I realize that she’s 16 in that photo, and that would make me a rapist. Then I finally realize that she’s in the other room from me, so I just walk over there and have sex with her.

Married life is significantly better than I was led to believe; I’m sure you’d agree with me.

  6. I love my Wii and I cannot wait until somewhere finally stocks the Wii Fitness Mat. I am SO gonna yoga

I’m a fan of the LEGO games, and have developed tennis elbow from Guitar Hero III… so yeah, the Wii is worth the moo-lah.

You can also put porn photos on a SD card and view through the Photo Channel.

  9. While I don’t own one, Wii is totally awesome. I love it.

Now, when you rob that bank if you could maybe get an extra $400 for me to get a Wii too, that would be great, thanks!

  10. I’m a fan of the XBox 360. But, that’s just me.
