I think it’s summed up in this: I realized that the heartaches of those days are a lifetime ago. Things did get better and we did laugh all over again. Some things about the past can stay in the there.

A lot of us have had shitty things happen in our childhoods and/or with our families, but don’t share it. Thank you for actually sharing though. It gives perspective.
