Last night we held our 5th BetheMarriage On Ice Live Video Chat and I may be biased but I think it was our best one yet. Here are two reasons why:
1- We we’re not once kicked off of the chat server despite having more total viewers (over 400) and chat users (about 40). This is a good sign.
2- Excellent participation from the folks in the chat room (see a partial list below). While we know that some viewers prefer to watch and not actively participate, the people who do chat are the true stars of th
e show. Without you guys this would just me my wife and I talking to each other.
We also managed to stay on topic* and not go over two hours this time. On by eight, out the door at 10 and then to a local eatery for a post chat meal. Good way to spend a Saturday.
*Topics included The Slackmistress’ interactions with Justin Timberlake, what does and does not constitute cheating, Dr. Horrible, pre Atari home video games, Wii Lego Star Wars, Bud Court and Steve McQueen.
The only minus from last night is that we couldn’t archive the video so you’ll take my word for it’s awesomeness, or watch next week and we’ll try to do it again. Other archived chats can be found here.

These are just the names I remember since we didn’t archive the chat. I’m listing names from memory so please point out ommissions and mstakes.

despite the feeling that i am a big nerd by watching you guys, i always enjoy the show and i think it’s a great way to get to know you both better.

I learned that it’s better to say cockbastard than cocksuker.
And that NPH is an a lot cooler way of referring to the actor Neal Patrick Harris.

Cockbastard Mother Fucker doesn’t really roll off the tongue.
