I won’t stand it, I’m not made to stand it.

About a month ago I noticed that there was a guy behind the bushes in front of my house. He was sitting on a beach chair with no shirt on and drinking red wine. While I didn’t know who he was, he wasn’t bothering me at all and he still had pants on so I figured there was no need to bother him. The next day he was there again, and the day after that, on the fourth day he was out there with a neighbor I recognized so I went to explore and found out that the shirtless guy in the bushes was now living in the building. Just what we need, another retard in the place, my neighbors are well documented in this blog.

Why do I seem to be the only person in my building who has a job and some semblance of a normal life? I don’t understand, I try to do all the right things and barely survive yet the gang of mental patients and the unemployable are living the life of fucking riley sitting outside sipping cheap wine in the bushes all day.

The biggest problem is that the number of stupid people milling around my house seems to be multiplying. It started with one guy, then two and then the other night there were eight. I was pulling into my driveway and I yelled at them to get off my lawn. The passenger in my car asked who they were and I had to tell them I had no idea, they just showed up one day. They have also begun leaving furniture around and nothing says classy like beat up chairs sitting outside, why not leave a broken fridge and a Trans Am on blocks to complete the white trash trifecta.

Have you read Winnesburg,Ohio by Sherwood Anderson? In the book there is a story called Queer (as in odd or unusual) that tells of a father and son running the family business; a store in a bad location full of things that no one really wants and the only thing more odd than the store itself are the few other souls who frequent it. I feel like I’m living in that store sometime and I wonder if I may resort to the measures taken by the son in the story. You can read about Elmer Cowley and his troubles in Queer at this link if you like. I think it’s worth a look at least.

There’s music in the previous post if you need to dance.
