When I got my first car my brother Dylan was about seven years old, he asked me if he could make a sign for the car. I said sure, certain that I would tuck it in the visor and forget it forever, and Dylan grabbed his crayons and markers to start working on it.
When I came back later he was done and he proudly handed me his creation, a 9”x14” sign that said “Kick Me Hard Bitch!”
I taped it to the dash and left it there for as long as I had the car.
On an unrelated note, I like cookies but I’m not alone in this. Over at one of my favorite places on the web, The Sneeze, our hero Steve describes them like this:
“No matter what’s going on, I’m up for a cookie. They’re fun, they’re always a treat and just about anytime of day I would like one in my mouth. They are the tits of food.”
Before you do anything else today, go there to learn about cookie jars, and other amazing stuff. The Sneeze carries the Be The Boy Punch Me In The Face Promise, meaning that if you go there and don’t like it you are allowed to sucker punch me inthe face no questions asked. This promise is given out very rarely, previous things given the promise include:
Trader Joes Jo-Jo Cookies (except the peanut butter ones)
Jumbo’s Clown Room
The Hold Steady-Separation Sunday
